Place a tall glass in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill. This helps maintain the drink's temperature without diluting it.
Juice 2 oranges for fresh orange juice. Measure cranberry juice, lemon-lime soda, and grenadine syrup. Chill all liquids in the refrigerator.
Pour 1 cup of chilled orange juice into the glass. Add ½ cup ice cubes to create space for layering.
Slowly pour ½ cup cranberry juice over the back of a spoon to create a distinct red layer above the orange base.
Drizzle ¼ cup grenadine syrup down the side of the glass to form a gradient between the cranberry and orange layers.
Add ½ cup lemon-lime soda and ½ cup sparkling water for effervescence. Gently stir to blend the top layers.
Place an orange slice on the rim of the glass and add a lemon wedge. Garnish with fresh mint if desired.
