Whisk melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift in flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
In a separate bowl, combine pumpkin puree and spices. Fold into half the chocolate batter until marbled.
Pour chocolate batter into a greased pan. Drop spoonfuls of pumpkin mixture over the top. Use a toothpick to create marbled swirls.
Bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let cool completely before slicing. Sprinkle with chocolate chips during the last 2 minutes of baking for extra flair.
