In a large bowl, mix almond flour, oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp salt. In another bowl, blend 2/3 cup almond flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp salt, nuts (optional), and cold butter using a pastry cutter until crumbly. Press topping onto apple filling and use a fork to make cracks for caramelization.
