Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the bread slices and toast for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Set aside.
Add the bacon to the skillet and cook over medium heat until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the toasted bread. Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and crispy bacon. Season with salt and pepper. Top with the remaining bread slice.
Cut the sandwiches in half and serve with a side of pickles or a drizzle of hot sauce.
